Welcome! My name is Lynette Webb and I'm an experienced Instructional Designer.

My mission is to connect adult learners with engaging and effective content - and, if I can add a little fun to their journey I'm going to try to do that too!

Although my portfolio reflects online assets, I'm also passionate about creating engaging training sessions in face-to-face settings.

PORTFOLIO
Problem: Adjunct and off-site instructors were not able to have an on-site onboarding experience.
Solution: An online orientation allows them to train as their time allows and also, to revisit material as desired.

VYOND ONBOARDING DEMO
Created with the free trial version of Vyond (watermarked)

Problem: A live tour in a single building was unwieldy, didn't focus on student interests, and was impossible during the COVID pandemic.
Solution: This virtual tour (currently a work in progress) of campus building allows new students to tour the building and focus on those locations that are most relevant to them.
JUST IN TIME TRAINING
Created with Articulate Rise
Problem: Instructors who are rarely on campus, and have limited time, needed a time-sensitive way to refresh their skills and incrementally improve their courses.
Solution: Online, monthly training, on demand, opportunities provided small chunks of training that can be viewed immediately, or as desired.
INTERACTIVE SCENARIO EXERCISE
Created with Articulate Rise
Zoom Resource Portal
Created with Moodle

Problem: The pandemic meant an uncomfortable shift to teaching completely online for many instructors who had no experience with Zoom or using an LMS.
Solution: A Faculty Taskforce was formed and through my work with the taskforce I created this searchable page to address their just-in-time training needs.
FREEFORM LEGO EXERCISE
Created with Articulate Storyline
Problem: An instructor uses a Legos exercise in the physical classroom and wanted an online version of that exercise
Solution: This exercise allows online students to create the desired shape online, they then submit a screenshot as an assignment.
INTERACTIVE TIMELINE
Created with Google Forms and KnightLabs
A multimedia timeline created for a history class invites the students to interact the connected events related to a specific era and experience videos, music, pictures, and text to enhance their learning.
